YearOut is an APS ETS (Association of social promotion) founded in 2006, secular and independent, which promotes international volunteering and participation in development cooperation projects in cooperation with local associations in Africa, Asia and Central America and Europe. International volunteering is an opportunity to work in teams in support of projects and at the same time to experience a wonderful travel experience.
WHAT
YearOut offers the opportunity to experience social, environmental and medical volunteering. You can help achieve the project’s results by carrying out activities in various fields: education, English language teaching, sports, construction and handicrafts, women’s empowerment, environmental protection, protection of endangered species and much more.
WHERE
Volunteering activities abroad are carefully planned with local associations, taking into account the aptitudes and characteristics of the volunteers. Looking through the different projects you will find the one that suits you, choose your volunteering camp from: Costa Rica, Kenya, Namibia, Nepal, Uganda, Italiy social volunteering.
WHEN
Departures for your volunteering experience abroad are possible throughout the year. The period of stay varies from a minimum of 2 weeks up to 6 months. We recommend that you plan your departure at least 4 months in advance. In exceptional cases YearOut is also available to organise last-minute departures for short periods. WHY

OUR HISTORY
We were founded in 2006, very determined to build a new organisation to bring young people closer to international volunteering. The idea was born after Alice’s long volunteering trip to India, which she left just after graduating. After 6 months in India on her return to Italy everything was decided. YearOut was to be born, to give young people the opportunity to leave for volunteering projects around the world with serious and reliable local partners.
Every day we are amazed to hear the stories of those who have returned, fabulous tales that keep us in suspense and confirm that volunteering abroad can change lives! YearOut is now many stories, those of all those who left with us, which we always listen to as if for the first time, because each one is special and teaches us something new.
Each volunteer is unique and we are always more passionate about your adventures and the results you achieve. The story of YearOut was written by visionary, courageous and daring authors who pushed themselves in search of new horizons and boundaries.
